This has been a great week, as
always. :) It started out with us having a lesson with a really funny new
investigator, Roman. He is hilarious! Haha we had a lesson with him in the
park, and he is sincerely searching for truth. He doesn't live in our area, but
his whole family does, so we're excited to see what happens. :)
Wednesday and Thursday were a bit
rough. I got pretty sick and so we spent a lot of time calling people and
working through the area book. But we did stop by Hollie and had a lesson with
her. She is doing so great! She's working on quitting smoking, and she's making
so much progress. :) I love her!
Friday, we saw Leah! She is SO wonderful!
It is such a privilege to teach her. We went over everything for her baptism,
and the last bits we had to teach. She is SO excited! All is set, and her
baptism will be this Saturday. :)
Afterward, we were finally able to
see Angela! We had lesson with her, and a member, Rachel, was able to come. We
talked a lot about faith, and how to start getting answers, we need to go to
church, pray, and read (CPR). She's got the praying and reading down, we just
need to work on getting her to church more. She is amazing, and I love her so
much! It was a great lesson. :)
Then we had dinner with Michael, and
were able to watch 17 Miracles, and we talked about the early pioneers. Also,
it was delicious haha. :) Michael is great! He is SUCH a great member, and he's
only been a member for about 10 months! :)
Saturday, I had one of the best VC
miracles ever. We got online, and I felt more anxious then usual. Then someone
came on and we started talking, and it was just amazing. She's a member, but
has had some struggles, and we were just able to talk and relate. Then I called
her the next day and we talked for an hour, and suddenly, some of the problems
I have had lately made sense, because they were similar to hers, and we were
able to connect and relate to one another. It was truly amazing! :)
Sunday was sooo great. :) Lorraine
came to church! (We're still not sure if she is a member or not...) and so did
Leah! We had a great lesson on adversity in Relief Society. Then afterward, we
stopped by everyone who didn't come to church. :)
Well! I'm running wayy short on
time, but just know that I love it here. Serving a mission is the best choice I
have ever made! :) Have a great week!
