FIVE MONTHS?!

 Bonjour!
This week has been AMAZING. So I am still in Huntingdon and my new companion is Sister Shigekiyo! She is from Brazil. :) (But her father was Japanese, hence the name) We came into the mission at the same time and so it's going to be amazing! :) Working with someone who has been out the same amount of time as you, is so wonderful. :)
So last week on P-Day, we drove into London and spent the day there! We went to Camden town and Big Ben and Sister Falcao enjoyed her last moments in England. Then, we departed :( and I got to spend the night in London with....SISTER BECK AND SISTER GJEVIK!!! Momma and daughter were reunited for the night. :) It was such a tender mercy and so much fun. :) Then the next day we went to the trains station were I met up with Sister Shigekiyo! Then we made the looooong drive back to Huntingdon. :)
Taking over the area has been so interesting...But it's been fun! I haven't gotten us lost yet. :)
Yesterday I hit 5 months and this transfer will be 6....so weird....

So since Ana was baptized, our teaching pool is quite small right now, so for the rest of the week we really focused on finding. And we have found some awesome potentials! We contacted this one referral (who it turns out he lives 2 doors down from Geo, Alberto, and Albey, the recent converts!) He didn't have time to talk, but happily said that we could come back! So we are seeing him on Wednesday and the best part? He has 7 kids!! It's going to be so much fun. :) We are so excited! We also met quite a few people that we will be seeing this next week so I will let you know how that goes. :)
We also sang to a memeber who lives in a care home, Anna, and she is adorable. :) When we went over there the other day, after we finished a nice rendition of "Lead Kindly Light" she immediately started to clap!! She also loves to join in singing. :) She is the SWEETEST. I love to go and see her, because you can simply feel God's love as you walk into her room. It's hard for her to communicate and move, as she is very old, but she as a picture of the missionaries who taught her and she always tells us how much she love us, and Christ. She is truly, one of God's choice children. :)
So I had the wonderful opportunity to receive a blessing from Elder Cardall this week. Before my mission, I had some knee problems. And since being here the pain as seemed to escalate. It's been terrified that it was something serious and have been almost ignoring it. (Not a good idea) Finally, in the past few weeks, it had become really bad. As I was praying about what to do, the Spirit kept prompting me "You need to get a blessing" but every time I had the opportunity to ask the Elders, the Spirit would prompt me to wait. I was a little confused. But when we went into London, the Spirit confirmed that I needed to ask Elder Cardall, and so I did! It was amazing and just what I needed. Not only did it address my knee, but other things that had been weighing down my mind. In the blessing I was comforted and it was made clear to me that Sister Shigekiyo and I are meant to be together this transfer, and that there are people waiting to receive the Gospel. I am SO exited for the next 6 weeks and I KNOW that miracles will happen. I'm so grateful that I am surround by worthy Priesthood holders, like Elder Cardall. I'm so grateful for him and his example to me. I know that as we listen to the promptings of the Spirit, every little one, we will be guided to the time and place where we will be able to receive the most help, or offer the most help. I know that I am supposed to be here, serving as a missionary. I am so grateful for this experience and how my relationship with God has already grown so much. I'm grateful for this upcoming Easter and for the chance we have to celebrate Christ's life and all that he sacrificed for us. I know that He lives, and am so grateful for His love each and every day. I'm grateful for all of your support and love. And I leave this with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. :)
Love always,
Sister Moody
P.S. If you haven't been to helives.mormon.org yet, check it out!! It's amazing and really helps us remember what Easter truly is about. :)
