| This is my companion, Sister Dabrowska. We love Christmas! |
Well hello!
This has been one good week! First though, has everyone had a chance to watch the new video, A Savior is Born? And the second video, too? :) if you haven't, do! And if you have, do it again! :) They are beautiful and truly inspired. Watch them, feel the spirit, and share them with your friends and family. What better gift to give someone this Christmas, then the gift of the knowledge of our Saviour?
Monday, Sister Billing (the RS president) took us to Gourmet Burger Kitchen and it was incredible. Sooooooo delicious, man it's been a while since I had a goooood burger.

Wednesday, we saw Rose again. :) Her sons didn't want to come in for the lesson, but we'll work on them. ;) She ended up getting into some anti Mormon material online so we spent a lot of time clearing that up. Then we taught about The Fall of Adam and Eve and she understood it so well, and agreed! She told us that everything we said about how it was part of the plan, needed so we could come, provided agency, etc... made sense. She is the SWEETEST person, and has such a desire to learn more and understand the Book of Mormon. We gave her one in French to help her reading, and sometimes when she doesn't understand a word I'm able to help her out in French. So that's a tender mercy. :)
Friday we made Christmas cookies with Angela! We wanted to do something to make her smile and let he know we care. Then we shared A Savior is Born, and the second video and the Spirit was SO strong. We talked a lot about baptism, and we feel that she is really close. She's incredible! This was the happiest I have seen her, and it was just a great night. :)
Then we had dinner at Rose's (member,
not investigator) with Michael! I love them both a lot. We always have the
funnest time and she cooks the best food. Her son also helps, and he's a
caterer, so it's always great. :)
Saturday we had zone meeting!! It's
probably tied for my favourite one. It was SO good. We talked a lot about
obedience, and Christmas, and what gifts we can give to the Saviour this
year.
Sunday was Kemi's confirmation!! It was
GREAT! And she was so happy. Then we went into Young Womens to help with the
lesson and it was great to be back and recite the theme. The lesson was on
sharing the Gospel and how we can stand as a witness of God. Reciting the theme
really took a new meaning for me, as I am now a missionary. It was great. :)
Then Sunday night we had the greatest
miracle at the VC...SO! We have a live nativity in front of the Chapel, and it
was been bringing SO many people into the centre this week. It's been
INCREDIBLE! Well, it ended at 7 and the actors came in. Sister Neeley noticed
that there were still a lot of people on the street, so Elder Cook and I said
we would put on the costumes and go back out for a few more minutes to see if
it brought more people in. As soon as we walked out, a couple walked by and
asked if it was ending. We told them no, we were just starting back up and then
they took some pictures with us. Elder Murri invited them in and Sister
Dabrowska and Sister Griffeth showed them the video. They ended up leaving all
of their contact information, wanted missionaries to visit them, AND referred
his brother. It turns out that before they came by, they had been at dinner and
talked about how much he wanted to change his life around. The started driving
home and passed the chapel, and felt like they should stop. So they went,
parked their car, and came walking back. If we hadn't of gone back out, they
might not have come in. :) So that was incredible!
Anyways! I'm out of time, but I love
you all. I know that the Gospel is true, and that Christmas is a great time to
share it. :)
Have a great week!
