Hello all! I'm a little short on
time, so this won't be much. :)
Well, this week has pretty much just
been one of those where we get canceled on repeatedly and rejected. A lot. But
we were still able to see little miracles every day. :)
As usual, we had dinner with Rose
and Michael and it was great. We showed A Savior is Born and talked about how
we can share that Gospel during Christmas. I just love those two so much!
Wednesday, we were able to give a
tour in the VC to a man named Julian. When he came in, we could feel the Spirit
SO strong, like he was a VERY prepared person. We then had a very
Christ-centered tour and taught him about the Book of Mormon. He took one and
promised that he would read it, but didn't want to leave any information. We
were a little shocked because of the spirit we had felt, but then he went on
his way. Then on Saturday, we got a Christmas card from him in the mail! It was
beautiful! He told us that he was so grateful he came in, thanked us for the
tour, told us that he would be reading and hopefully see us again soon. It
really helped me to see, that we don't always see the immediate fruit of our
labours, but as we are diligently trying to invite others to come unto Christ,
then miracles happen. I don't know if we will ever hear from Julian again, but
I know that the seed was planted and when he is ready, he'll accept the Gospel.

This week has just been crazy in the
VC! We have the live nativity and it is bringing SO many people in! It's
amazing!! I had the opportunity to be Mary two nights this week, and the Spirit
that it brings is incredible. When you put on those clothes, and sit and act
the part, you can't stop smiling. It is truly an indescribable feeling. We were
also able to send about 5 referrals for people who wanted missionaries, in
other areas. I am just so blessed and grateful for my call to be a Visitors'
Centre sister. I've had some amazing experiences and I know that it's where I
am supposed to be. I love it here. :)
Church was great! I had to give a
talk about my heritage in the Gospel. :) In a ward of many, many converts, I
was one of few who had pioneer ancestors. So I talked about them, and then
talked about how each of us can be a pioneer. Then in Relief Society, the
lesson was all about missionary work. Whitechapel is really catching the spirit
of sharing the Gospel and it's incredible to see! I love this ward a lot. :)
Also, Angela and Rose both came to
church! We weren't able to see with of them this week, but they came and
enjoyed it. Angela seemed so happy, happier than she's been and it was great.
:) Rose is just SO much fun and it's always great to see how she gets along
with the members. We will be talking to them both about baptism this week so we
will pray that it goes well!
Well! I'm out of time, but I just
want to let you all know that I know it's all true. Every last bit of it.
Christ is our Saviour, and Christmas is all about Him. I'm so grateful to spend
another Christmas on my mission. I'm grateful for my mission and for the
life-long friends I have made. :) the Gospel is great!! :)
Love you all!
