Hello!
This week has been incredible, and I don't have much time so hopefully I can get this all written! First, it was transfers! And...I'm staying in Whitechapel with Sister Dabrowska!! This will be my 7th transfer here haha. :) I'm SO EXCITED! I'm pretty sure they should just move my membership records here. Nonetheless, I love this ward and am thrilled to be staying another 6 weeks. :)
First, our major miracles for the week! So last week, we called a former investigator, Justina, and set up a time to see her. Her teaching record looked amazing, and so we were pretty excited! We had 2 appointments that day, but could only get a member for the first. We were on our way, when the member texted and said she had lost her keys and would be late, but would come for the later appointment (with Justina). This ended up being a miracle, because we needed the member for Justina! So we go to the first appointment and....it's good a member wasn't with us. I'll talk about her later haha....then we went to Justina! We met Charity (the member) there and then knocked. Justina answered and let us in. She was so sweet! We sat down and started talking and she told us how she just did not get the Book of Mormon. Charity sat down with her and drew out this wonderful diagram and explained it so perfectly. Justina just kept nodding her head and saying "yes that makes sense" and by the end, she loved it! The spirit was just getting stronger and stronger. Then Justina launched into her story of the past few months...she said that when she first met this sisters, it was great! But then she wasn't really feeling it and some of her Pentecostal friends told her not too. So she dropped them. Then she said she started working weekends, and she stopped going to church, and began to fall away from God. Then one day, her knee just popped right out of place and she was in a lot of pain. This led to 8 weeks of recovery and living in someone else’s house, so the sisters could never get a hold of her again. When she returned, she felt far away from God and wasn't working weekend anymore, but still didn't go to church. She said that she was just praying for forgiveness, and a sign of how she could repent. She turned to the Bible, and read a verse about fasting. But she didn't know how to properly fast. And then.....we called her!! She told us that we were truly sent from God, so that she could know how to repent and have a relationship with God again. She told us that we were like angels that came to help her. By this point, the spirit was SO strong. We bore witness that we were representatives of Christ and that the Gospel would help her. Then we invited her to be baptised and her response was "Yes, When? I know I probably need to come to church more, and continue to meet with you, but when can I be baptised?" Hahaha so we told her the 30th of January. :) It was amazing!! We walked away full of the Spirit. But it doesn't stop there...
Then the next day we had a dinner appointment with Michael, but we couldn't find a woman to come with us. We were pretty frantic and called everyone we could think of, with no success. We invited Justina, but she couldn't. By this time, I was starting to feel SO sick, so we decided to just cancel so I could rest. We called Michael, and then started on our way home. Then Justina called and told us that her plans had changed and she would love to come! But we had already canceled...after we hung up with her, we started to think how much we wanted to have a lesson with her, and how much it would help Michael to have him teach her with us. So we prayed, and the Spirit said to set up the appointment again. (We only had about 2 hours)

We called Michael,explained the
situation, and he was fine with it. Then we called Justina and...SHE DIDN'T
ANSWER. Needless to say, I was stressed. So we just continued on, trusting the
Spirit and having faith. Sister D was just singing and laughing, while I was
just so stressed and frantic. Then to top things off, we ran into this CRAZY
guy who thought he was a monk and one of the only "saved" souls. I
was just so stressed because I was thinking we would have to show up at
Michaels and not be able to come in. We decided then to just go to Justina’s
and have faith! We showed up and....no one was home. So we started to
pray and she walked up!! She was so shocked to see us, haha. She told us that
she was getting on the bus when something told her to get off and go home. And
then there we were. :) Then we went to Michael’s and had an amazing dinner and
lesson! Ah. The Lord is really aware of us. Anyways, this was probably the
miracle of my mission. She came to church and is just soooo excited to be
baptised and keep learning. She's amazing!!
We also were able to have a pretty powerful lesson so another investigator. She's having a really hard time right now, and we were able to testify that God loves he and the Restoration is what she is looking for. It was cool. :)
We started teaching someone who we think is a hoarder. (This was the appointment before Justina) She's really nice!! But...haha it's a weird situation. We're helping her get a little more organised and then going from there. :)
We taught lesson 3 to Leah and she's doing great. She is so cute and just a joy to teach.
In the VC, Sister Cardall was giving a tour and came out and asked if anyone spoke French. I told her that I spoke a little so I went in with her. I struggled to know what to say, but I could understand pretty well. Then Sister Cardall gave them a Book of Mormon and the only thing I could think of to say in French was "It's an amazing book. It changed my life dramatically." And with that simple sentence, I truly felt the spirit sooooo strongly. I don't know if they did or not, but I could feel it being confirmed to me. It was a testimony builder that the spirit knows no language, and your testimony doesn't have to be long and elaborate, just sincere and true. Then Sister Cardall was super bold I'm asking them to meet with missionaries, and they left their information that we will send along!!
Well, I'm out of time. But this has been an amazing week. The only words that come close to being able to describe how I feel is the Gospel is true. There is a God who loves us and a Saviour who knows us each personally. I am so grateful for my mission, for the people I've met, the experiences I've had, and how the Gospel has changed my life. :)
Until next week!!
Xx Sister Moody
