"ARE YOU PREPARED? BECAUSE YOU WERE PUT IN MY PATH!"

Hey ya'll!

So the past few days have been pretty darn great. :) Monday for p-day
we hopped on a bus with the other VC sisters and toured London! Then
we jumped off at Leicester Square for some food at the pub!! So much
fun. :)

Tuesday we had an amazing miracle. We were giving a tour to a member,
when another lady came in. Elder Cardall gave her a wonderful tour and
lesson one, and then introduced us to her. We showed her Because He
Lives and she LOVED it. She kept telling us how she just wanted to
find a church that celebrated the living Christ, how she wanted to be
rebaptised because she wanted it to be her choice, and just all these
little things that are our doctrine, that she already believed in!!
And then, WE FOUND OUT SHE LIVES IN OUR PROSELYTING AREA. That rarely
ever happens. She is truly a miracle. :)

The subject line is a chat up line Sister Gjevik and I came up with.
I'm trying to help her find out ways to talk to boys when she goes
back. (In 11 days! 😭) hahahahahaha we are so awkward. :)

Also, I've been listening to Wicked non stop this week because, WE SAW
IT TODAY. OH MY DAYS IT WAS AMAZING!!! So we are allowed to see one
musical on our mission, and we went today with some other Elders and
the Jordans. :) The actress who plays Glinda is a member, and so we
got to go backstage after! Ah man. So we woke up at 4:30, so we could
get in line at 6 to get cheaper, and awesome tickets. We ended up with
front row seats in the middle for £29 which is so good!! AND we sat
next to these two girls who are crazy about Wicked. For one of them,
it was her 69th time seeing it, the other it was her 32nd. We made
friends and had a blast. After, we got to have a tour back stage and
then talk to Savannah. President pulled some strings and got the two
girls to come with us. :) They were so happy!! We also were able to
talk to them about the church and become Facebook friends. :) So that
was such a tender mercy!! And it was amazing. I had chills the whole
time. I love Wicked. :) I cried, I laughed, and I freaked. :) Such a
good p-day and worth switching it to Saturday. :)

I don't know if you remember me talking about J, our online miracle
a few weeks ago, but he is doing awesome!! So when we first talked, he
expressed that he was afraid of what his parents might say. Well, we
hadn't heard ANYTHING from him for the past little while. I was afraid
that maybe they had stopped him from learning. And then on Thursday, I
received this Facebook message from him.
"Good day Sister Heather. I really thank the Eternal Father because He
used you as an instrument for me to know and be a member of His one
true church. I really appreciate what you've done for me. Sister I will
be baptized on june 27, Praise be Unto God. really Thank you sister
for bringing me into His church."
I started crying. I couldn't believe what I had just read. The spirit
came over me SO strong, telling me that THIS is the Lords work. That
THIS is what it is all about; helping others come unto Christ.   In
that moment, it was witnessed to be so strongly, that this truly is
true. That this is the work of the Lord, and I am helping hasten the
work. I am in love with being a missionary. I was thinking about this
whilst watching Wicked, and I was really struck when they sang For
Good. I got very emotional, thinking about all the people I have met
who have changed me, and reflected on the message from J. I'm not
the same person I was when I walked through those MTC doors, 7 months
ago. (7 months yesterday! Where has the time gone?!) I am a servant of
the Lord. The people I have met, the experiences I have had, the
people I've talked to on the streets, and online, have truly changed
me for the better. I KNOW, without a shadow of a doubt, that this is
where I am meant to be. I'm an instrument in the Lords hands, and as I
stay obedient and faithful, then I can speak the words of the Lord,
and help others learn of the restored Gospel, as J is. In reality,
I did nothing, except follow the promptings of the Spirit. I was
simply answering a chat and bearing witness, and it ended up changing
his life. Missionary or not, I bear witness that as we align our will
with God's, the work will hasten and people will have the chance to
hear about the Gospel. I know this is true, I know that there is a
God, and I know that Christ lives. Nothing will ever change this
knowledge I have. And I leave this with you in the name of Jesus
Christ. Amen. :)

I LOVE YOU ALL.  Thanks for all your support. :)

Love always, Sister Moody
