"I RAN AWAY FROM THE CHURCH THREE TIMES AND GOD STILL FOUND ME!"

Cheers!

This week has been one for the books! Crazy, full of little miracles, hard, and fun. :)

Monday, we had dinner at Rose's with Michael. (She is finally back from the Philippines! It's been 6 weeks. She is a member here, and is basically our "mom" in London. Ah I love her!) She made us super delicious fried rice and told us all about her trip. :)

Tuesday, we adventured down into Old Street to do some former finding. No one was home, but it was still great. We walked right past the place where they will be building the new Whitechapel building. It will be done in about 2 years. It's right next to the Methodist HQ, so that will be interesting haha! :)

Wednesday, we had a dinner appointment with a member named Josephine. She is the best! She made us SO much food! Ah, it was delicious. She also told us about her conversion story and about how she joined the church when she was on holiday in London, and then went back to Nigeria and then decided not to go. Then she said she got her children to go, but continued to go to her Methodist church. Then her car was stolen and the LDS church was closer. Haha she said "I ran away from the church THREE times, and God still found me!" Then she bore her testimony, and it was the most sincere, pure, and powerful.

Thursday we had zone meeting! SO GOOD. The Spirit was SO strong. #LondonNorthForLyfe Really though. They talked a lot about working with members and how to plan our studies better, and the spirit just really came into the room. I love being able to serve around so many wonderful missionaries. :)

Friday we were able to see Angela! She is doing really well. We had lesson about fasting and recognising answers. She has such a sincere desire to change and turn to God, she just has a hard time recognising answers. But she is progressing really well! I don't know if I have ever met someone who has touched my life like she has. She's incredible!

Then we ate at Rose's again and helped Michael with his talk. It was his first one ever so we was really nervous. :)

Saturday we had a mission wide fast for finding! And we saw so many great miracles! First, when we got on the tube in the morning to head into the VC, this man kept looking at me. Then when the person next to me stood up, he moved into that seat and said "What church are you from?" I told him and he proceeded to tell me how he used to be a bad man and a drug dealer. How he was from Poland, but moved to England and became a wanted man, but then found God and turned himself in. He said he was released from prison and just wanted to grow closer to God and Christ. He has a family and wants the best for them. He lives outside of London, but works here. I told him that I know it was no coincidence that we met on that train. (and it wasn't! Sister Wai and I actually should have been on a different one, but had been running late and missed it) Then he told me how earlier, he had been praying for God to send him someone to either help bring to God, or that could help him grow closer! So we got his number and will be referring him to the Luton elders. But it was SO cool!

We also talked to the HAPPIEST person I have ever met on the street. it really brightened our rainy day. :)

Oh! VC miracles for the week. :) We have an online investigator who has been trying to get in contact with missionaries for forever! We've sent the referral a bunch, but nothing happened. He lives super close to the chapel, but was scared to go. He's incredible! He said that he knows Joseph Smith is a prophet, and all he wanted was to go to church and learn more. And this week he was finally able to meet the missionaries!! So we're excited to hear how it goes. :)

Also! We have an online investigator in Canada, named Jack! And Jack is super great, he loves the church, but has a hard time making commitment, and wouldn't reach out to the local missionaries, even though he had their number, well! Luckily, I have a friend in that mission, and with the help of Elder Lund, was able to pass along Jack's information AND HE WENT TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY! That's huge for him haha. :)

Sunday, Angela wasn't able to come to church because she was sick, but Vincent came! Vincent is the referral from the Stratford elders, that was going to come last week but couldn't. he came and loved church!! We will see him again tomorrow and see how it goes. :) Also Michael ROCKED his talk! And then told us later that his mom in Jamaica, as a Book of Mormon!

Then later that day we were able to visit a less-active and sing some hymns with her. There was a beautiful spirit present and it was really neat. :)

Chioma is doing great, we don't get to see her a lot because she is really busy. But she wants to send her dad in Nigeria a Book of Mormon! She's such a wonderful person. :)

Anyways! Wow, sorry I wrote a lot! It has been a crazy week and now I am out of time. But I just wanted to bear my testimony that I KNOW that Christ lives and loves us. The Gospel is amazing, and I love being able to bear witness of Christ, every single day. :)

Love you all! Thanks for everything!
